Vision and Purpose
The members of Shade have decided for the following strategic plan...
Over the next year it is our goal to raise funds that will allow us to establish ourselves and perform our first projects. Shade wants to be an organisation that can raise its own funds through its own means without have to fully rely on donations. We will hold annual meeting in which all our activities will be discussed. At first in Sierra Leone and then possibly in the UK. We are also in talks with other charities about possible co operations such as SLDARA.
Once there are funds available The Plan will give rise to a considerable amount of detailed work, which will be taken forward by small groups of Trustees and staff. It is inevitable that some of this activity will take time to complete and not all aspects of the Plan will be taken forward at the same speed. Nevertheless, it is hoped to make a start on the more pressing matters this summer once funds are available from concerts.
